Terms of Service

Last updated February 2026

These terms govern use of this website and requests submitted through it. A signed statement of work governs any actual engagement and takes precedence over this page.

Website use

Content on this site is provided for general information. Case studies are anonymized and describe outcomes in specific contexts; they are not a promise of comparable results. Nothing here is legal, tax, or investment advice.

Requests and deposits

  • Submitting the engagement form is a request, not a contract. No payment is collected by the form itself.
  • Engagements are reserved with a $500 retainer deposit, invoiced separately after scope is confirmed.
  • The deposit is credited in full toward the package price.
  • Deposits are refundable within 7 days of payment if no statement of work has been signed and no work has begun.
  • Once work begins, the deposit is non-refundable but remains credited against delivered work.

Scope and change

Fixed-price packages cover the deliverables listed on the packages page and in the statement of work. Additional scope is quoted in writing before it is performed.

Payment

Invoices are due net 15 unless the statement of work says otherwise. Enterprise programs may be milestone-billed. Late balances may pause delivery.

Intellectual property

Deliverables produced for you become yours upon full payment. Our pre-existing frameworks, templates, methods, and tooling remain ours, licensed to you for internal use. Purchased templates are licensed to your organization for internal use and may not be resold or redistributed.

Confidentiality

We treat your non-public information as confidential and use it only to perform the engagement. We will not name you publicly without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions: info@pinnaclepmo.com.
